I think there was a topic about this but I just want to add more to it.

First, do you agree with people dating outside their race?
Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race?
What race do you prefer?
Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background?

Me, I've never dated anyone who was Portuguese or Caucasian. I've dated only Black and Hispanic guys. I find nothing wrong with it.
I have this friend who is Indian and he says he will never date anyone who wasn't Indian. And his parents don't allow it either.

so far ive only dated one person other than korean... she was flip... and the rest might have been just like half half but yeah she was the only pure flip i dated.. i have no problem with it =P its my choice and if someone has a say against it *EFF THEM*

i see nothing wrong with it at all. only one of my boyfriends was partially my race. (i'm mixed like hell.) and so yeah. my boyfriend right now is caucasion (italian/irish) and i'm mixed like i said (flip, hawaiian, spanish, chinese). a little different eh?

sometimes i just find it weird, like a white guy going out with an azn.. or a black guy going out with a white chick.. i'm not sayin this offensively i just find it weird sometimes..

we are all one race. we are humans, the human race, we are just different variations. there is no black race, or white race, or asian race, no we are all the same race with variations. the black culture, the white culture, the asian culture..so yeah..get rid of the race stuff

and yes i would date anyone of any culture if i liked them enough.

I think it can be a really rewarding experience because it forces you to step outside what you're used to: your usual customs, traditions, etc. You gain a deeper insight into things by learning and experiencing someone elses culture and lifestyle.
Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race? Arrrg... I hate this one. People harass me all the time about how I date black men saying I was a disgrace or that I was [insert race here]-washed or trying too hard be someone I'm not. Some people would even go as far to say that I was ashamed of my race. Just read my guestbook at my website. It's horrible.
Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background? Of course, already have and will continue to do so. Love has no boundaries...

im filo. ive only gone out with one filo in my whole life. personally, i dont really like filos. lol. not that there's anything wrong with them. most filo guys are just not my type. right now im going out with a guy who has an american dad, korean mom and was born in korea. but he took on the caucasian side more.

I don't think there's anything wrong with interracial dating.

Some conservative parents may not allow it though for reasons I am not aware of.

My mom though, doesn't seem to want me to marry a Chinese... She wants a white son-in-law...

I have dated my own race, I have dated white guys and Koreans. I don't really think there's a difference. So long as they're hot.

yeh honestly it depends on the person.. all the hispanics here arent that attractive cuz all of them try to act gangster (gagnsta??) and then the black people that go to my school are completely racist..

its kinda complicated for where i live but in general i would date somebody other than my race.. even tho my parents want me to marry a white guy.. they understand that there are possibilities i might fall in love with someone thats not white..

Im asian.. and Ive dated all white and hispanic guys. I think that people that are strictly dating their own race, are really insecure about themself :/I heard/read somewhere that being comfortable with youself= dating people that are different..
