That's from a year ago... Isn't it best to start anew for 2005?

I know, but I mean, this is kind of an exception--the last thread was for Christmas 2004, and this is for Christmas 2005.

Yeah...I closed that since this doesn't really need a poll.

Why does everyone keep asking me what I want for Christmas? It's October. I never plan that far ahead.

My mum does Christmas shopping in September or October at the latest. But I never really think that far ahead, so I almost always have nothing on my list.

And anyway, my mum has no money, and my dad has bills and such to pay, so I never feel like I should ask for anything expensive.

My mom is just as last minute as me, and thus I don't actually have any real reason to think of anything to make a list early on. Christmas is something of a catch-22 for me. My mom complains of things costing too much, so I don't ask for anything, and then even though I try to make it pretty clear that I'm trying not to make them spend much, they always turn it into my not wanting anything because I'm spoiled and have too much already. I don't have much of anything to ask for this year, since after a year of begging, I got my iPod, so I don't want to ask for anything else big, and most small things I could more easily buy for myself.

-To get my iRiver fixed. That shouldn't be a problem, anyway.
-Time to hang out with my friends and family.

That's about it.

- Boyfriend flying in.

That's all I want. I don't care about the clothes, I don't care about the money. I just want to see my darling again. It's been three months. He was supposed to come about a month ago, but things screwed it up and so that trip was cancelled. I'm going crazy, but I'm so anxious - I wish December 16 would just hurry up and get here. throb.gif
