Ughh. I hate acne. Nothing works for me! And now i have this huge hacking zit above my lip! Does anyone know what would help for my skin.

Things I have tried:
-oxy pads [dry my skin out]
-sea breeze [doesn't work anymore]
-apricot scrub [drys my skin out]
-perscription from my doctor [expired the day after i got it- wtf?]
-putting toothpaste on it [haha i make a mess]

Anything cheap? And anything that maybe works kinda quickly?

Hmm..you could try some of those overnight patches..I think they're by Clean and Clear.

Or, you could find some really strong witch hazel toner that'll just kind of like, burn it, I guess..

I dunno. I'm too tired to think.

Also, it's kind of pricy, but order Proactiv.

It's a three-step system. First you have the exfoliant, then the toner, then cream. I think that if you put on the right amount of toner after the wash your skin shouldn't dry out.

It's helped me a lot, but you gotta do it twice a day and stay with it.

have you ever dried medicated acne cleanser? i use either that new clearasil ultra daily face wash with 2% saligylic acid acne medication or the oil free acne wash cream cleaner with the 2% acne medication by neutrogena or..clean and clear continuous control acne cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide. the stuff by clean and clear makes your face feel tingly and can over dry your face even with the oiliest t zone so make sure you get a face moisturizer as well. here, ill take a picture just in case.

all of these are less than 7 dollars. and like you said with the proactiv, if its drying your skin, all you need is some cheap moisturizer.

i myself just recently started struggling with acne and pimples. so ive only tried these three so far. and theyve worked really well. just make sure you dont pick at them or theyll leave really ugly scars.

Definitely my favourite skin cleanser is ProActiv. I find it clears up my skin so well. It's great if you can buy the whole package of 3. There's the renewing cleanser, revitalizing toner and the repairing lotion that will moisten up your skin if it feels dry. I also use the tea tree oil facial cleanser from The Body Shop. I also definitely suggest a small bottle of Clinique Acne Solutions, for those annoying pimples. It stings at first, but it works like magic!
