Eh. Just tell them that you started shaving.. they can't exactly stop you now because you already started.

They could stop you, but you could still continue.

So what I'm getting at is.. just tell them the truth.

1) use a new razor.

2) put some moisturizer on the area.
after you shave, put something like aloe vera or whatever.
skintimate has an aftershave gel, that works.

well if you shave and then put on lotion.. its stings! pinch.gif aftershave should work, but lotion when it doesnt sting... and you should still tell your parents the truth, i mean it is your body.. be like im a woman! i need to shave, i want to shave and i am going to shave!
if you want to make them feel bad then reply with... If you love me.. youll let me shave!! lol

Are you shaving with just water ? If so, that's probably why you get them. If you don't have shaving cream use hair conditioner. It works just as well.

Then stop shaving if you don't wear skirts or shorts. Plus if they haven't noticed that you started shaving, then I'm guessing you really didn't have noticeable hair in the first place. How old are you anyways?

To avoid razor burns and not buy shaving cream stuff, use body wash.

maybe you are pressing too hard with the razor. just take it slow, and in the shower, be gentle and after your legs are moistened, put on the gel and rub. it should look foamy. shave smootly and softly.

if your dad has aftershave, use that.

yeah use lotion afterwards...and thats stupid..they don't let you shave? pinch.gif anyways...yeah and make sure you don't shave too quickly. that could be another cause for the razor burn.

I understand you completely when you say your mom won't let you shave. So I'm not going to tell you to tell your mom.

Do you have sensitive skin? If not, then I'd suggest you use that gel stuff you put on your legs and you use a plastic scraper thing to scrape the hair off. It lasts longer than a razor, you won't get nicked, and you don't have to worry about razor burns. I forgot what it's called for a moment, but...yeah.

My mom doesn't shave.
And I asked her once if I could shave, and she said sure...mellow.gif
I would try asking them.

And use shaving cream.

yeah maybe you just have dry skin or something...cuz before i used this stuff called olay moistu-rinse, my legs were rlly dry and i had razor burn a lot, and i used shave gel and stuff. but my mom bought me the moisturinse stuff and i dont have dry legs and i dont have razor burn! so i suggest olay moisturinse. you put it on in the shower and rinse it off and it feels reeeally soft. and it doesnt burn cuz i use it right after i shave.
