What was the justification for them not being counted before? Just wondering. It's not like VIP is a spammy forum like forum games.

I think the other reason was 'cause not all members had access to that forum
and I think backstage posts count so that doesn't work and if they don't, they should |

Backstage posts don't count, I don't think. They show up for staff members in the top 20 posters of the day, but not for other people...

^ it doesn't show up for other people on that top 20 list, but it does show on your total ppd though. on your cb profile, etc.

What was the justification for them not being counted before? Just wondering. It's not like VIP is a spammy forum like forum games. i think because spamming was allowed or something I think VIP is pretty spammy. In fact, spam threads have been historically moved to VIP for that very reason. I think the other reason was 'cause not all members had access to that forum and I think backstage posts count so that doesn't work and if they don't, they should Backstage posts don't count, I don't think. They show up for staff members in the top 20 posters of the day, but not for other people... Backstage had PPD enabled fairly recently (summer maybe?). It was disabled because of the chit chat thread and it was determined to be unfair because not everyone had the same opportunity for PPD beefage. I think it was then discussed that because staff members were more often than not (at the time, at least) posting not to spam, but to do staffly things, it was fair to have PPD enabled. Honestly, PPD isn't a big deal. If the reasoning behind VIP not having PPD enabled is because other members cannot access the forum, then screw that. People can work to the posts to get to OM status to have that privilege. If it's because of spam, well, Lounge is pretty spammy too. I'm neutral, really. |

I don't care about PPD, I just think that our posts that contribute to entertainment, despite maybe being a little spammy (but from what I seen, VIP isn't that spammy) should be accounted for.
especially if cB profile comments are gonna count, I mean honestly that ish is so spammy |

Heh, comments shouldn't count. It's been brought up to 'the man', but ya know how that goes sometimes. *whistles*
I'm not opposed to PPD in VIP. I just don't think much of PPD in the first place. hehe |
