Over the next few weeks/months, you will see me making topics to try to get new/vet members involved in cb. One of the ways that I want to do this, is through facebook! I want to get the group out there more, and hopefully I can get people to join, and then we can get things moving on that angle. Also, for those of you that have facebook poker, I want to do a poker tourney once a week. I know that a lot of my poker heads on here will love that lol! I'll announce the dates and times of the tourney, and I'll have a sign up sheet as well. Stay tuned to more activities! I'm always in cbc if you wanna talk or you can pm me as well if you would like to suggest things.

Yeah I just realized that there is one! OOPS!

I guess in a way, I am trying to bring more people together on the site..if that makes any sense at all? I want people to start interacting with each other more.

I'm horrible at poker, but I love Scrabble and pong. haha

As Carrie mentioned, there's a "cB" Facebook group already. It appears that the admins for that are Arjuna, Thomas and Pedro.

I sort of see what Spencer is saying though, regarding directing traffic here.

I like where you're heading with this though. =)

edit - duhrr, you just responded. :x

I'd imagine it's like promoting cB at new "borders." shrug.gif I mean, promoting cB at places already more popular than cB itself makes sense to me. It's how cB grew at first, with Xanga and Myspace.

Facebook was supposedly one of the downfalls of cB (because there weren't any need for layouts there), but hey maybe we can use it too, ha ha.

which is understandable, but your whole point is to make CREATEBLOG more fun, not facebook. look at it from the chat perspective. the many times i've been there, people will come in to only chat and NEVER access the forums. there are others that rarely come on the forums, but frequent chat, and there are a select few who manage both. the thing is, it doesn't make sense to promote unity for one site by taking the fun elsewhere. the direction you're trying to go is to make this site more lively, but leading the traffic elsewhere could lead it to be like chat.
