Dude I love Nader. I think I'm voting for mr. consumer advocate. People may say it's a throw-away vote, but if everyone puts their throw-away vote to nader, he'll become like the populists.

Nader isn't expecting victory. Nader's expecting to draw enough votes away from the main candidates that they realize that incorporation of his views and ideas into their platforms will increase their amount of votes. If they can take Nader's votes, it could make the difference in a close election. For instance, Gore accused Nader of taking away votes that could have made him president. Stupid comment, yes, but the idea is what I'm trying to convey.

This time around, no. Other parties have to come to realization that those votes could be vital to their victory, and they'll start to incorporate his stances/ideas into their platform.
