QUOTE(Steven @ Oct 25 2007, 02:46 PM) *
Hopefully not. I might add, I was on staff guys. Because I was on staff I should be respected. I know how things go down on staff. I was once myspacepeople staff. I know how staff works. I was on staff, don't forget that I was on staff.
Regardless of my compulsive need to tell y'all about how
I was on staff, Rachael's activity is a recent thing to the best of my knowledge. She was questioned plenty backstage as well, and I remember she didn't seem to be too active in the queue. This may be in part because of Holly and Mike completely owning it up, but who knows.

Dont forget you were a veteran of staff for so long (3 months-ish) when you stepped down.

QUOTE(Steven)
I think Sandra as a mod is bad for the community. She doesn't pay attention to other moderating comments made in a thread, and proceeds to close when she deems it close-worthy. She exercises poor judgment. Isn't this site supposed to be for the majority, not for the mods? Aren't they supposed to help the community? I think it was very apparent that the majority of people who had an opinion on that one lovely thread wanted it open, and also shared the same feeling that it wasn't hurting them. You want your comments in mod performance Sandraaa, well here they are :)

Please explain to me how doing something that goes against the majority of the community is beneficial to the site.

You're making ONE action very general. I never said that the topic was going to be forever closed.

BTW, my act was supported by a moderator.

EDIT//

I don't pay attention to moderating comments or I didn't pay attention? There's a difference. I don't want to get all defensive but I know I did the right thing. Steph already gave a warning but some of you guys continued the spam which made me close the topic. I also remembered mentionning that the topic was going to get re-opened if Trish (because she was the OP) wanted it back and as long as you all were on topic. Now that the communtiy guidelines are getting reviewed, that shouldn't matter anymore.

Look Steven, you're beginning to make this a one-mod action. I remember you saying that it wasn't directed solely at me. Why don't you call out others who've done the same?

I also remember you saying that your only 'problem' with me was my absense. Obviously, I've been working on it. You never mentioned how 'bad' of a mod I was. Take a look at the first page and the last few pages in the leniency thread and it's like seeing a whole new Steven.

Not counting my absense and of course this incident, I'd love to know what makes me a bad moderator. I am not asking for insults, rather constructive critisism. The only critic I've taken to be constructive so far is that of Trish. (no joke).

I don't think I should be looked down upon just because this.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I'll reply to your comments tomorrow.

'Night.

Cuz I have better things to do than search or try to remember. It's not like it's going to kill me if nothing happens and I'm ignored yet again thumbsup.gif

Nope, I've always been me thumbsup.gif See, reason I never complained about you is because you were never here. By default, you did nothing wrong.

If you think what I said in mod changes is insulting, then maybe you should get off the internet :D

There was this thing going on when a club would be pinned after each week I guess?

I don't remember..it happened right when I got put back on staff.

I'm not really sure about that one either. _unsure.gif Maybe its cause of what Steven suggested...we have a vast number of chinese people on Createblog. But what about the other clubs?

Hmm, ok.

Still doesn't make much sense to me, but it's not a big deal (again, was just curious). Thanks for answering though. XD

Sandra refuses to answer what I've said about her. Whenever I critique her, she gets so flustered and irrational and gets really defensive. She can't take criticism. She's a very poor staff member. She didn't do shit for the longest time, and now when she comes back and f**ks up she doesn't try to fix it. I remember when I had disputes w/ Rebecca, she listened to what I had to say and even reopened a few threads I was bitching and moaning about for legitimate reasons. Sandra does not do this. She should be demoted to design staff.

Just because I can't resist reading this thread. ><

Anyhoo Steven. Hi.

I apologize for getting defensive when being called dumb or stupid, ya know. Dude, which threads do you want me to re-open? Trish's thread? I mean, that's practically the only thread I closed recently in which you guys were having fun. I also remember saying that it will get opened if Trish wanted it to.

I know I get all defensive at first but I definitely take your critiques (critics?) in. But when I see words like 'dumb' or 'stupid' or 'insert insult here', it comes off as rude. shrug.gif

my suggestion would be quit whining about rudeness or getting ur feelings hurt. ur a staff member, u have to be able to handle that kinda shit. toughen up and take the critique, ignore the other stuff

True Colonel. But it's not that much fun when it comes from someone with whom you were once on friendly terms. Buuut, yeah, I get it. Thanks for the input.
