Yea, completely. This is in my personal opinion and in no way to be taken the wrong way

But most people at 14 are really immature. I hate to say it but its true. And they are in no way mature enough to take care of a kid. I've always stuck by if your not mature enough or ready to have a kid then you shouldn't have sex, at all. And if you choose to do so out of the curiosity this world puts under some kids. Then be safe and perhaps talk to your parents about it and get on some birth control.

Well it depends. If she is married than no. Sex out of wedlock is yes.

My opinion? I cannot picture 8th graders having sex, period. Most all 14 year olds I know are just not mature enough to handle the consequences, even though they think they know what could happen. I'd hope that if one that young insisted upon having sex, they'd approach their parents and get put on the pill, at the very least...

i have lots of friends that have sex, along with alot of other things. it's really not that uncommon but i suppose i just hang out with bad kids.
it's their decision, but as holly said, most of them are too immature to handle a child.

I think it's wrong. If you have sex when you're 14, if something bad happens, you'd be too young to handle the consequences. It is WAY too young an age to be having sex.

Agreed. Sex is a part of life, and you can choose to have it at any time, if you're of level of maturity and understanding. But if you have it too young, then yes, it will ruin your life, like the quoted said.

I would have to say that is it wrong because of course, you are too young. I should have listened to my mother. I started having sex at 14 and now [17 years old] I have a 4 month old. But I'm happy and my family is happy as well.

Yes, it's a young age but I suppose there are mature 14 year olds out there. I guess I'm not either for or against it, neutral. By now they should be aware of the consequences, and well, if it goes wrong then who's to blame?

There is no right or wrong in this question. It is all subjective and completely different for each person. Some 14 year olds are mature enough to handle a sexual relationship while some 24 year olds can't.

No. If they're mature, feel they're ready, and neither is pressuring the other then it's fine. And of course, if they use protection.
