My case isnt jocker. stupid effin moffer effer peoples need to stop distributing my layouts out without my permission and when i notice them they never take it off even when i emailed them 3 times! #$@%@#$%@# Seriously, who the EFF input their layouts in the database and DONT know whom layouts it is. ^ I don't make layouts so I don't have this problem but I share your frustration out of the sheer audacity of anyone to distribute layouts without credit or permission. Unfortunately, there is no way of enforcing copyright infringement. cB needs to take this up though - like you said, a LOT of the layouts are from here, and some still bear the cB hosting images.

EDIT: On their Myspace layouts homepage, they say their layouts are 'provided by createblog'. Is this true?

If you meant having the owner's permission, then, that would be false. SO very false. I came across another layout site, MySpaceTweaks.info, that provided Xanga and MySpace and many are from createBlog. This is probably the first time anyone of them has actually responded to me about removing the layouts. Though, it's very very very annoying that the images are all still hosted on cB's servers. I mean, disrespectful much? I appreciate that they responded but wow, there are more layout sites than we can imagine.

i not only get jockers... but i get that problem as well... most sites link off CB.....

but i REALLY hate JOCKERS... omg they piss me off to no end...
and to top that off they steal your codes... make their layout and are all like 100% of this layout is all mines... don't jock or steal

We've seen a lot of them, people constantly post or pm them to most of the mods, but there is nothing we can do. Most of them don't even have contact information.

We've seen so many sites it sucks that we can barely remove the layout. There are topics in feedback or somewhere with links to a bunch. Jockers suck. End of story. Even if we got them to remove them, I have a feeling they will do it again anyway. The internet isn't regulated. When you post something you are letting it be viewed by millions/billions of people. Same goes for layouts and your are allowing all these people to take them.

Sometimes, I wish cb layouts weren't so out there. Like you would have to have a grip load of posts to access them, but sadly that wouldn't even work out so well.

Yes, I've seen a lot of the cb ones in other places.
It's great for cB to provide layouts for people, but then there's this jocking problem. Everything has its consequence.

I've made some layouts for xanga/myspace that I used on my own page and found out some people jocked those.

Please just hear me out, createblog isn't here for you to vent out about how mad you are about someone taking you stuff, or someone using it with out credit, altering it or what not. Telling people to go spam people to make them feel bad isn't ever going to work, thats the wrong thing to ever do. Just contact the person and tell them the truth about it and not retaliate. Even if you have contacted the person about them taking your layouts, tough. I'm sorry to slap the truth here but its the internet. Places like createblog that have their layouts open to the public have always had a problem with the layouts being taken by other sites. No matter what you do its not going to change them from having the layouts up. they don't care.

With this said, all this is leading to is spam through out the topic and people saying their going to spam others or flam them or whatever. Please don't encourage others to do this.

Trancie, your a great person. And I know you have ever right to be mad about this whole thing. But I'm sorry Deary there is nothing you can do about it. No matter how many times you contact the owner, he doesn't care. He didn't make the website to care what others think about the layouts or did he make any of those layouts. Hes only in it to make money off the site, which means if he has good layouts then he gets more money. Thats how it works.


Oh yea, keep in mind the designers cafe is like a lounge but to keep spam out of the process. The community guidelines and forum rules do apply. If spam is continued throughout the topic then this topic may get closed.

I disagree, createblog is here for people to bitch about every and any little thing that they possibly can... this is the designers cafe' so... bitch all you want.. as long as it has to do with the resource center. xD

Well, you shouldn't be upset. I'm here to set you free. If you don't like seeing people steal "your" layouts then don't post your layout on createblog.com... simple as that... once you submit a layout it's not your's anymore. It's createblog's, and Ju-sun doesn't give a shit... :D

Oh dear, Trancie can, x] the last thing a site want is bad reputation, the power i have is my layouts run fast. Lol i am not mean, but when ppls like those ppls come to my attention, their name will be BAD MOUTH on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY LAYOUTS. and believe me, if i can get 700 fans to myspace in 5 days, i can get 700 of them spam that freakin site. =)

^Eh, he needs to learn how to not use so many periods between words. -___- and probably learn how to spell and look more professional through his replies to people contacting the website itself, because it doesn't exactly make the website look that great.


Also, if you want to get people to spam the site. Don't do it here, go do it on myspace or whatever other forum you can find. PM people secretly for all I care.

These people make money off having these layouts on their site (MORE LAYOUTS = MORE MONIES). When you submit layouts to CB they aren't yours anymore; they're CBs. CB's owner (Ju-sun) doesn't care about these "stolen" layouts, and CB's staff can't take legal action against these "thieves". CB will also allow these "thieves" to use it's bandwidth. CB is super nice, and super super free. (CREATEBLOG.COM = FREE LAYOUTS = FREE MONEY!!)

If you feel bad about it... suck it up. You're wasting your time. :D Don't bother contacting them (they don't care). Don't contact Staff (You're bothering them with things they can do thing about). Contact Ju-sun... if you can. HAHHAHAHHAHAhhAhhahaa

I would have a problem with that? yes... but you don't understand, I don't submit my graphics to this site for that very reason. If I submit my graphics to this site, it's as if I never created them. Anyone can have their way with them.
