We basically need more mods that aren't people/xanga staff.

But that's not going to happen if people aren't applying.

So in this case. Myspace mods are the ones that approve/deny layouts. This topic is pointless since current staff can't do anything other than encourage people to apply for myspace staff.

Xanga staff are allowed to approve myspace skins. We have a new system that all mods can, but the people staff just shouldn't. It maybe takes days because there are SO many skins people submit. I just looked in the queued(sp?) skins and there are about 77. Nobody wants to check all of them; it takes time.

//edit:
We're slowly taking time to hire myspace staff. people need the requirements to become one and not many people even applied. There were no myspace staff to begin with, but now we have two. that's already good. We'll soon be hiring more, I'm sure, if more are to apply with the right standards.

We apologize for the inconvenience. There are currently only 2 myspace staffers and each day we receive an overwhelming amount of MySpace skin submissions. Please be patient, we are doing our best.

MySpace staff isn't just accepting skins. It's also about knowing your material and being dedicated to helping people. In MySpace Help and such. If you've submitted 16 in one day, they should take a day or two to be accepted or rejected.
And meeting the qualifications doesn't automatically get you in. Not even close.

well, luvkills, where do you suppose we get these mods from? can you conjure some with magic?

it's not our fault there's not many myspace staff..if there's people who could help, they should apply.

and .. just for future reference, even if you're on all the time, that doesn't mean you wanna go through a bunch of skins. it is very time consuming.

For one thing, people staff doesn't accept skins. For another, you don't even qualify for staff (according to the prerequisites). Don't kid yourself, hon.

it takes a while no matter which section you submit skins into. although some may not take as long, it still takes time and i wouldnt want to read through 100's of codes.
