Saying 'that topic was moronic' is unnecessary. If the person who posted was unaware of what was going on, they might not have thought so, either. You have to think about where they`re coming from.

PS. if the topic was 'stupid' don`t you think it could have been said in a different way?

I think some you are forgetting that mods are human. While I do believe that if you are a mod (Especially People Staff) you should conduct youself in a somewhat professional and friendly manner, we all know that there are times when certain members or topics are just annoying to us or are plain out stupid. And we all catch an attitude with each other once in a while, not just mods, so cut them some slack. Is there a better way than saying "hey are a dumbnut and this topic is moronic", yes I do believe so because a mod represents cB and if new members see a mod (which is to set an example for the rest of the communtiy) mess around and catch a fit over something just once it may leave a bad impression on cB as a whole. People are already complaining cB isnt as friendly a place.........(and no I dont think the mods have anything to with that, I'm speaking in general and from what other members have said)

That's something I have posted before (and upon searching for it, it appears to have been deleted.. HMMM..). However, I never received a PM, so it probably wasn't me. Also, "btw, the PM that the mod sent to that person was harsh xD." Yes, that will solve everything!

There's no need to get upset over something trite and mundane. It's a personal opinion that was posted. You don't have to like it. Why? It's not your opinion.

Jordanriane, yes, everyone has different opinions, you're right about that. But someone told me in the debate forum that I shouldn't have posted what I did because it was already debated. I thought that was kinda dumb, because I was saying MY opinion, and no one had to reply to it if they didn't want to. The same could be said here.

Saying, "This topic is completely moronic," is pointless. Does it add to the topic at all? No. Are people going to read it and take it into serious consideration? Probably not. That person was just blowing steam. They could have just as easily ignored this thread and moved on, whether or not they wanted to state their opinion.

And to Frankie, people are going to swear if they want to..I don't see how filters will stop that. It's not like people are retarded and can't tell what the word is.

i'm not too sure where she is either. i was told that she was BACK just not ONLINE and i think that's correct. her profile says that the last time she was active was july 22 (i think) but hey, everybody needs a break everyone once-in-a-while right? besides, we have roxy. =D

but the two people that would probably know the most about her where-abouts would probably be eve (x_angawhomps) or anna (azarel) since it seems that they are all friends. XDD

You think telling you that an argument has already been debated is dumb? Well, not reading the debate forum rules before posting is very dumb, too. We do not appreciate repetitive arguments because it's 'dumb' to repeat things that already have been said. It's like I told you I have a brother, and you ask me if I have a brother right after my telling you just so. That's really, really, 'dumb' and counts as spam.

ya. i find that some mods aren't that friendly either sometimes, especially to newbies. However, they are still doing a great job and closing topics that are needed.

Telling us that mods are rude doesn't solve any problems. You need to say which ones and why if you're all so adamant about us not being mods. We've said this more than once, but no one seems to listen.

sometimes the mods NEED to be rude for a reason. because either the people just don't understand, or maybe just because that person the mod is talking to isn't following the rules or, being rudely sarcastic to the mod.

no Mod was rude to me. only two official members. it did hurt me, but it's just a good thing they aren't mods or I would be puttin` their names here right now.
