I've made it no secret that he certainly isn't my favorite person in the world, but that's not why this thread was re-created. The person that created the last thread requested that his posts be deleted and as such, threads started by that person were removed.

I apologize if Thomas desired that his request remain private, but it affected public threads, so I felt that being upfront about it would be best.

I don't think there was an announcement (I don't remember one either). I think that it came up briefly in the Boardroom and since a ridiculous amount of time had passed since he logged on (not to mention post), it just happened. I'm sure James doesn't care. I do miss him around the forums though.
