**NOTE**
I did this tutorial in Photoshop CS3 Extended which is why some of you may have problems. However, that does't mean this tutorial won't work in other versions of Photoshop. Just try it out.
Want to turn the picture you took with some sort of light in it (lamp, candle, etc.) in the day into night? Well now you can by following my tutorial. Here's the before:
Here's the after:
Let's start!
001.First, open up your picture.
002.Next go Filter>Render>Lighting Effects.
003.Apply the following settings:
Light Type: Omni
Intensity: 32
Material: 96
Exposure: -11
Ambience: 6
**Make sure the center of the spot of your light-point is placed exactly where your headlight is.
004.Your picture should look like this now:
005.Now do a ctrl+j.
006.Go Filter>Render>Lighting Effects again & apply the following settings:
Intensity: 36
Exposure: -18
Ambience: -4
**Make sure the center of the spot of your light-point is placed exactly where you placed it previously.
007.With your "Layer 1" selected, change the opacity to 66%.
008.Now flatten your image by going Layer>Flatten Image.
009.Once again, go Filter>Render>Lighting Effects & apply the following settings:
Intensity: 64
**Make sure the center of the spot of your light-point is a little bit smaller than before.
010.Now go Image>Adjustments>Levels.
011.With the Red channel selected, apply the following settings:
Input Levels: 50, 1.00, 217
Output Levels: 0, 255
012.And there you have your final product!
