You can get creative with it like i have for myspace.
You will need a control image.. what you will see always and a image to see when hovered.
In firefox you can have it to where there is no link just enter [a] and it will work when hovered.. not for IE though sorry.
In IE if you want it to be able to hover with no link put [a href=""] it will work but when clicked it will refresh the page.
[Just a side note] I use a control image to go over a video so whenever the image was hovered the video would autoplay. to autoplay a video type in &autoplay=1 after the URL.

This is the only "roll" over css/html script that has worked on myspace for me so far!
