I am proud to say that I am a My Chemical Romance Obsessed freak! They have truly changed my life. I met My Chemical Romance the day my aunt passed away. Coming back from the funeral, I walk into my room turn on the tv and there it was: "We'll carry on; although you're dead and gone; we'll carry on." It hit me right in the spot. I felt in love instantly. One thing I've noticed about society and my surroundings in particular, is that a lot of teenagers listen to that hip hop, r&b stuff. It's good, good rythm, good to dance to right? What are they saying? What are they talking about? sex, cars, parties, money, diamonds. The reason why I rarely listen to these kinds of music is because of the meaning. I'd rather listen to something that I can relate to. I can't just sit and sing along to a meaningless pointless song about having sex with some stranger because I'm just "cool" like that. I mean no offense! :) Sincerely, in my opinion, and it is only my opinion, the world is the way it is because of our ways of thinking. These kids who are listening and refuse to go to school and learn things, they are our future! Why doesn't anyone do something about it? & the issue of MCR being emo, I don't even care. At least their words are more powerful than a weapon full of bullets going through your head.
