Paradox of Life

A Blizzard Of Queries
How mediocre,
How monotonous would it be,
To live life just like everyone else?
What is the point of life,
If you have no significance to others?
What is the point of life,
If you can’t prove yourself to the world?
What is the point of life,
If you bottle up your potential?
It seems opportunities keep passing me by,
And yet I brush them off,
And think I’m alright where I am,
But I’m not,
And I think I can’t get any better,
Why? I ask,
Why am I still waiting?
Why does life seem to keep moving on,
When I’m being left behind?
Why am I so slow?
Why am I still sulking over my misfortunes?
Why can’t ANYONE HELP ME?
It seems I’m beyond repair,
But I won’t take the easy road out,
With a makeshift noose around my neck,
Or my head shoved underwater,
I’ll work harder,
Past these obstacles,
I’m not weak.

It was a very lovely poem. It entales of self doubt and then I see that you find your strength toward the end of it.
It was nice.

Your poem reminds me of something that my boyfriend wrote not too long ago. I like your poem. It's very real, no sugarcoating or trying to cover things up. Honest. Good job.
