Photoshop is easier to use at first, but once you get Illustrator, it's a lot better for vectoring.

hmmm i still can't figure out illustrator and vectoring, i can't even start it off right.

It's just like using the pen tool in Photoshop, but in Illustrator, all the shapes with the same colors can go on the same layer.

I think it would be better if you used Illustrator. It's much more easier to make curves right than in Photoshop. Well, it would take longer.
