I very much enjoyed the movie, but it was mostly because it starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt (whom I love) and I recognized a lot of the places (it was filmed in Vancouver, where I live). I thought the overall story was kind of meh... funny and touching (the part with his dad made me tear up), but not all that deep and meaningful.

I'll admit I am bound to love most anything JGL is in, and most likely wouldn't have watched it if he wasn't in it. Though I do really like Seth Rogen too.

Overall, I think the film was alright. Had some funny scenes but I expected it to be better based on what I heard before watching it. However, it was thought provoking.

i don't get the love affair so many people have with him. he's a sucky actor. he has ONE character, that isn't even really very funny, that he plays in every single movie.

Yeah I completely agree. But I give him a break because he's from Vancouver and was in Freaks & Geeks.
