this is part of my 2d design project, the exquisite corpse. i'm doing the giraffe head (its got a superman body and woody's legs)
my partners and i have agreed to use a stippling method to do the positive space. this isn't done yet (have to fill the negative space w/ line design)

Julia, I'm completely lost on the terminology you used.
All I can say is that this is pretty amazing.
Reminds me of those really old school illustrated children's fairy tales or something.

Whoa, nice job. I thought stippling was annoying when I had to do it for an art project in the eighth grade, but my design (sneakers) was nowhere near as detailed as yours. The end result should be cool.
