Exactly.It's a part of life. When you're older and get a promotion at your job, jealous people will badmouth you. When you get yourself something nice, people will spread rumors about how you afford such a thing.
If people are smart, they will realize that you don't have any contact with this person who is saying stuff about you and they won't believe her.
