so i got my first paying job, designing a pamphlet for a local salon here in town.
so my question is what programs would u recommend for pamphlet design? ie.PS,WORD,ETC.

also, the theme of the salon is NYC, what fonts go w/this idea?
thx
Gigi
Use InDesign for layout work, Photoshop for editing work.

DON'T. USE. WORD.

Yeah don't use Word.

NYC's your theme? Hmm do you have any images you're thinking of using? So I can make some suggestions for fonts?

Facepalm to all of you. Word is great tool for pamphlet design.

If it's printed material, I usually make all the graphics in Photoshop, and then put them all together in Word.

Although I see a "city" type theme in all the images, the first one doesn't really scream "city" to me like the other ones do. But take a look at these fonts:

Honestly, I'd steer away from graffiti fonts because they're a bit much, imo.
