It seems every time we have a test or a quiz, or something along those lines, everyone waits for a first brave soul to hand in their test. Because the second that first person sits down, almost 3/4ths of the class gets up and then turns in their test.

Haha i noticed this today, i always do, but thats because i don't like asking where to place the tests.

Yeah I hate being the first person. If I have time left over I always feel like I should make the most of it and check my test over as many times as I can before I finally have to turn it in.

the faster i turn my test in the faster i can leave. so i don't usually sit around waiting for someone to turn theirs in.

Sometimes when I take a test and it only takes me 15 minutes, I end up thinking that I did it wrong and that it shouldn't have been that easy. But when I am done with my tests I usually just check them over and hand them in and leave. I don't want to sit there and look around feeling like an idiot.

Well I'm in highschool, we don't necessarily have the choice of leaving, although it's retarded having 45 minutes left in the class and having to stay there with nothing to do.

I get paranoid that I finished too fast so I wait to make it seem like I took longer and reviewed my answers when in actuality I just sat on my ass waiting for a few more minutes to give myself a false sense of security and hope I didn't do poorly.

But then there have been times where I took a test in 5 minutes and got an A. Multiple choice is win.

I don't like turning it in first becos iono where to put the test, eventhough the teacher says it at the beginning of class, i don't pay attention.

i get a bit paranoid too when it seems like im the first one to get it done and people are still doing theirs and i think that i didnt look through it very well and stuff so then i go back and check a few just in case.

lmao. i hate being the first person. i feel like i did worse than everyone because i didnt spend as long on the test than everyone else. and i REALLY hate being the last, because everyone is waiting for you.

I would always wait for someone to turn in their test first before turning mine in while I was in high school. But now that I'm in college, I just want to get out of there as soon as I can.

It depends which class I'm in. Sometimes it seems like people are competing to be the first to hand in their paper, and sometimes it's like they're too scared to be the first.

I usually hand in my paper right when I'm done because I HATE tests/exams and want to get out of there as soon as I can. It's not good though because I don't really look over my answers for mistakes, which results in not the best marks.

Im not like that. To help me get better scores I kinda treat school like a competition.
But sometimes when I finish something and say done before everyone else I later find out I only wrote half of what I was supposed to or something.

Im the fastest reader and writer in my english class so i often spend a lot of time staring at a wall while everyone else is writing something. And i get good grades. And since im an actor im naturally good at speeking so i always get picked to read books for class and stuff.

H'okay. Judging by what you just wrote, no. Besides, speed is only relevant in a competition if you're also accurate, which clearly you are not. And also, you're 13 if I remember correctly. Being mediocre and getting away with it can only last so long. Learn to grow up soon or prepare to face failure in the future.

And I know your gonna say something like homeschoolers cheat but actually the curriculum are normally a lot more advanced than most.

In fact recent studies have shown that a lot of companies don't even ask for your GPA and are more interested in work experience. So unless you're going for a master's degree (i.e. law school) then seriously: screw it.

I had a 2 hour test that I finished in half an hour and couldnt leave the lecture hall, so I sketched an epic picture on the back of my exam, I was pretty cut when I had to hand it in.

and i'm slow anyway.

I'm usually the first one done .
But I do notice that people wait until someone else gets up.
I really don't care...
