Take a look at her profile: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...friendID=622274

I want my pics to have a black background just like all her pics. How do you do this? Thanks.
Comptine
I can't really tell but she probably did it these two ways:

1) She used an airbrushed edge brush on Photoshop and just colored the edges with black. This is most likely cause she missed a spot on the right where you still see the straight edge of the limb.

2) She used the lasso and outlined the thing she wanted, invert, then feathered.

^Yeah, most likely. She also could have done a new layer with a black blur or black gassiaun blur at 100% opacity. Then, she could have used an airbrushed edge eraser brush and erased what she wanted.

But I'm not entirely sure since I don't have Photoshop open.

(lol, idk if I spelled "gassiaun blur" right.) laugh.gif

THIS IS HOW I DO IT IN ANY PROGRAM AS LONG AS YOU WORK WITH LAYERS!

001. Have your base.
002. Make a new layer.
003. Fill the new layer with black.
004. Use the eraser tool, and just erase the parts to show your base image.

You can go crazy or you can be creative. It really depends on how you want the blackout to look like.

I should make a tutorial like this for createBlog. :)
