The stillness of the water is deceiving as it provides false hopes of calmness and tranquility. The turbulent waves that once were and the violent riptides that will unknowingly trap the aloof are either distant memories or a denied reality. For now, the water remains calm, posing as a blurry mirror to the full moon above. A simple gaze into the water triggers nostalgia. There was once a time when the endless ocean represented everything that we knew to be our relationship. The high tide in which we sailed without a care in the world or the low tide of still water, where time seemed to stop in its place; it was heaven’s requiem. Lessons were learned after we became victims of the currents, and if we choose this lifelong gamble with Poseidon, the learning process will continue. Without notice, our dream of a vacation, tackling the oceans of our relationship, came to an end, and in separate directions, we walked alone on the beach. Now, I see you in the distance. We’re too far away for the acknowledgement that we each desire, and still, we continue heading forth on the uneven path that will lead us to each other. Still is the night, and still is the water. Still, the love we have for one another remains intact.

Wow brandon, I didn't expect that at all. That was really good and it had a lot of imagery (is that the right word?)
