thanks to the dudes who gave out those killer music hosts but anyways i was just wondering about real audio (extension known as : .rm) if i were to upload my .rm file to one of the music hosts would i be able to play it from my xanga? for the people who know the '.ram' file, would there be any proper place to stick that? hope that's not too much trouble to figure.

Well you have to make sure that the audio script you're using can play RealAudio. I think most of the scripts in Xanga Scripts only play mp3, asf and wma, so you have to be careful.
