Full Version: Div Layout is playing up on my MAC

Hi everyone,

Really hope you can help. I'm really into my graphics but still learning about codes and all of the DIV stuff so not very tech minded. I'm putting together a DIV Myspae Layout for a band and it's looking great on my PC using Explorer but not so hot on my MAC. It's not recognising any of my CSS Styling I think?! Wheras Explorer makes my background black and my scrolers blue as I think my code states, Safari on the MAC just ignores it. Everything inside my DIV box is perfect but out side of it looks as was. Any ideas I will pop the code up but beware ths is all copied code that I have adjusted so it's bound to be terrible!! If anyone has a MAC to look at it on it's www.myspace.com/britchix

It would be great if anyone could offer me any advice as I normally feel reasonably intelligent but today is not one of those days!! I think I'm falling into the bimbo camp!!

Instead of the code, can you put up a screen shot of it in Internet Explorer and then in Safari.

Oh also, please post all of your codes. I used the codes your provided and the only thing that is showing up is the music player. Please provide all of your codes if you would like to receive help. If your using image maps for a band profile; please keep in mind that image maps don't work in other explorers on band profiles, so your going to have to chop up the image and position them were they need to be.

It's basically just that at the moment, I came to a stand still once I realised that it wasn't working. It seemed pointless carrying on with it if it wasn't working on my MAC. I would really appreciate your help. I understand some of the code but only enough to edit existing ones, I'm on the edge of my ability all the time with it. I'm also not very good with forums so apologies for the code! xxx

Once I get this bit sorted I'm going to try and add my comments and friends but I really want them to fit in with the look of the page and so far that is just out of my grasp. If you have any ideas or example codes that I could work from I would really appreciate it. x
