I had a tracker in my myspace code for a long time, and then today I decided to change it, and I erased the whole thing without thinking to take the tracker code out. I went and got the code again and put it back, but this time there was an image and I don't want one. I found where someone posted on here for how to get rid of it, and I put in the posted code with the tracker code, but I noticed it wasn't tracking, so I went logged back in and checked, and it was deleted from my "edit profile"..

I tried putting it in again and saving, but when I logged back in it was gone again.. ? Does anyone know how I can have my tracker in my profile and working without having the little tracker image? Or how to make it stop erasing the code I put in??
Insurmountable
post your tracker code that you get from your tracker on here. I'll edit the code so it doesn't show the image.

More than likely if you copied another code and it didn't have the write link or whatever in it, it would be tracking someone else's profile not yours.

Here it is..
I tried just removing the image urls at the bottom before, but it didn't seem to want to track anything when I did..

<p><a href='http://www.createblog.com/tracker/index.php?id=48566' class='cb4stats'></a><a href='http://www.createblog.com/layouts/index.php?layout=myspace_layouts' title='Myspace Layouts' class='cb4layouts'></a></p><style type='text/css'>.cb4stats { display:block; float:left; height:31px; width:88px; background-image:url('http://www.createblog.com/tracker/track48566.jpg'); } .cb4layouts { display:block;float:left;height:31px;width:10px;background-image:url('http://www.createblog.com/images/link2.gif'); }</style>
Insurmountable
Just put this up there:

<p><a href='http://www.createblog.com/tracker/index.php?id=48566' class='cb4stats'></a><a href='http://www.createblog.com/layouts/index.php?layout=myspace_layouts' title='Myspace Layouts' class='cb4layouts'></a></p>

Then just send me your myspace link or something so we can see if it works or not.

Thanks!

Hope it works. :)

Um. . .Moved to MySpace Support.

And Holly, I think the image MUST be visible. It only makes sense, coming from CreateBlog.

Refer to this thread: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...&hl=tracker

Image must stay in tact.

I don't see why it should, I've had it in there forever without an image, and then I accidentally deleted it today and when I put it back, this is the first time I'm seeing one.. ?

Wow, I didn't realize you had, "Holly" in your name, but I was actually speaking to Insurmountable, being on Design Staff.

One of the things we request is for the image to remain intact.

Heh, weird. ^^;

Well anyways, if it can't be hidden, then it can't. I just never had one before and when I saw it, I wanted to hide it again. Thanks anyways. :)

Yeah, just to set the record straight. I searched, "Tracker" and came up with these results:

QUOTE
How do I hide the tracker button?
The tracker button is there to help promote our tracker. It's also there as a privacy precaution - we believe that if you choose to use a tracker, visitors have the right to know they are being tracked. In the future, I'm going to release code for official members to hide their button, so if you wish to take advantage of this feature, give back to the community and contribute!
