Quick edit is not working. It takes me to the top of the page and does nothing..

Log in and log out.

When I try and log in, I have to log in twice: once at the main page http://www.createblog.com/ and then again at the forums http://www.createblog.com/forums/

It's the same when I log out, I have to log out of both.

Does that make sense?

Mentors still do not appear on the member list.

When "my assistant" is clicked (at least in Firefox), a new window pops containing the assistant as well as a subwindow in the original window (as was in cB3).

in ie6- the search form on the header is aligned to the top instead of the middle and it looks funny.

wordpress submissions dont take you to the normal "your submission is pending" screen. after you submit, it takes you to a blank page.

Yeah, I'm having logging-in problems too. I had to sign in four times before I was finally able to post here.

When you receive winks, and try to view them you get a 404 not found error.

Every time I click "my account" it logs me out.

I can't log in under 'My Account'. Error says it's a bad username/password combo. There aren't restrictions on characters used in the password like there are in the username, are there?

ETA: Maybe there were. I had my password reset and it's working now.

also when logging in from some areas it brings up a download window for index.php ?!?

Topsites were removed. Sorry. Unless micron changes his mind, it's not coming back.

I don't think everything is done yet so Tutorials should be fixed. Those "areas" aren't done yet and will be completed soon.

When I try to see my profile by clicking the upper left hand corner next to My Account, It takes me to see Mina's profile, not mina.harkers prifile ..

^ Did you set up the other profile? My account -> Profile setup (or something like that)

^Something similar. I just had my name changed earlier today and now on my other friends lists if you click on my picture on their profile it sends you to my old username which was intercourse. so its invalid.

Actually, that's not a cB4 bug; that's someone not knowing how to use the calendar correctly (and every Friday has been "Sammi's Birthday" since cB2, at least). I searched for a way to remove it while I was on staff, but I think it may just be something that admins can remove or something.

images in resource submissions run off the columns if they're bigger than 420px wide.

i dn if this is a bug or a change but do somments on layouts not count twards your post count? becuase it isn't counting for me

I could be wrong, but if commenting peoples profiles doesn't boost your post count I wouldn't think commenting on layouts, graphics or tutorials would because they are not part of the forum?

But then again parts of CB4 are not done, so I wouldn't know for sure.


You might not be able to fix this, but oddly in Safari I can't change the complete best friends thing. Just mentioning it incase someone else can't either. But in Firefox it perfect. Odd .

on the blog part of the site, i'll try to add someone as a friend and it says i'm not logged in, but i can view my option settings...

well i was just wondering because before they did and it motivates people to comment the layouts and stuff so i wish it did.

i cant view my winks page on my subdomain. everytime i go to the my account page and it says i have a new wink, i click and it takes me to the internet explorer default page saying there is no such page.

^ I get the same error, when trying to click on it under "My Account".
But it works if you go to your profile, and then click on the winks.

There's a way to get negative PMs, but I believe the problem existed prior to CB4.

its because periods are invalid characters. youll need to change your username, but dont ask an admin to do it, read below.



its because you asked an admin to do it. admins SHOULD NOT change usernames using the forums admincp. it will break things on cb4. ill release a tool where people can change their usernames every six months. it will fix your issue as well.

I don't know if this was posted before, but... when I go to add someone as a friend on their profile, and I am logged in, it says I'm not, and won't let me add them at all, and I try logging in again, and still no work.

^ try deleting your cookies. on internet explorer, thats tools -> internet options -> delete temporary internet files

I've tried that already, and I'm still having log-in problems.

A lot of the time I fill out my log-in information, and it gives me a message saying that I successfully logged in, but when I return to the forums, it turns out I'm not.

Layout (Designer) Hotlinking.

It used to be where you enter your member number after this link http://www.createblog.com/layouts/index.php?author_id=XXXXXX and it would bring up your whole list of designs. Now, the link was replaced by hotlinking your subdomain with /layouts/ after it. (Ex. http://anime-essence.createblog.com/layouts/) This is helpful but It would be better if the old way of hotlinking was still available. Maybe keeping both? Adding the old way of hotlinking back?

yes, go to My account and under tasks it will say so. in the future, ill add a notifier on the top right links whenever theres new tasks so that members will remember to check their my account.

i rememeber someone mentioning this somewhere and i didnt give it proper thought. the forum editor (pm messenge editor) didnt display the css correctly, englarging the box enormously. its been fixed now.

Erm, whenever I try to change my "Best friends" on my profile, I can drag them on the first page. But when I go to the 2nd or 3rd page it won't drag.

Everything was aligned fine for me in the latest version of firefox. Now my profile looks all messed up.

yeah its the best we could come up with for now. another solution would be to either change or possibly get rid of the width on #container.

dymamic dropdown navigation falls under form fields. (i.e. on http://www.createblog.com/graphics/ if you hover on "Tutorials" in the top nav, you'll see what i mean.)

This is a bug in ie6-

i've been trying to view these pages in firefox and safari on my mac, and they are just plain text... kind of like a site map. then i have to scroll all the way down to get to the page i'm trying to view. i thought it was problem for everyone, but when i used a windows computer and looked through IE i found out that the site is rather complete and not just a "site map"

though it seems no one else is having this same problem?

On no, believe me it's very convenient. I just believe it's just more efficient to keep the old way of hotlinking available especially if members use it (like myself and other designers have). I see this problem has been fixed. Thank you Junsun, once again.

Auto-merging no longer works for double (or more) posts made by the same user in topics over the span of ten minutes.

Additionally, the problem with my PM box (and I'm sure some others' as well) still persists with the forum upgrade.
