so a few weeks ago there was a school shooting in rural pennsylvainia that was buzzing all over the news when it happened. it was a really terrible thing that happened. and shortly after that my friend's mother died. so this is pretty much crying about how the wold is atleast half full of tragedy and misfortune.

We heard the news later that day
It happened near a place called paradise
He took his rifle to the school
And felt the need to end the children’s lives
They pleaded for his mercy but
He needed redemption for some-
Thing that had happened in his past
When he was a child
He took five girls and told them
“Stand against the chalkboard.”
He gave them each a blindfold and killed them
Execution style (so vile)

And all misfortunes happen
For some kind of reason
So says god, I don’t believe him
This was just too f**king wrong (so f**king wrong)
if it were up to me I’d make it
So no one could hurt us anymore
No one could hurt us anymore
Near a place called paradise

She lay in her hospital bed
Her daughter sits beside her
And he in black robes enters
Straight green lines race ‘cross the screen
Doctors rush in for the code blue
As she watches from a few feet
Crying as they cover her face
What did she do to deserve this?

And all misfortunes happen
For some kind of reason
So says god, I don’t believe him
This was just too f**king wrong (so f**king wrong)
if it were up to me I’d make it
So no one could hurt us anymore
No one could hurt us anymore
Near a place called paradise

What a wicked world
Near a place called paradise
