I just don't think he is all that attractive and don't see what the big hubub is. He's not ugly or anything, I just don't see him as nice-looking.

Plus, as a person, he's really been going downhill in his role choices.

The Libertine sucked, but he makes such a wonderful pirate...

As hard as it is to accept that, I respect your opinion. But..why do you say that about his pick of roles lately (aside from Willy Wonka)?

I don't like Pirates. Haven't seen either. Not interested. Libertine looks awful.

Secret Window wasn't all that wonderful either.

Pirates in general..? Just because you don't like pirates doesn't mean he didn't make a good choice in choosing that role.. Besides, POTC2 broke three box office records already.. a lot of other people seem to enjoy his character. Heck, I know people who LOATHE Johnny Depp, but love Captain Jack Sparrow. I can't vouch for The Libertine, but why judge something you haven't seen? And have you read the novella? It's not one of Stephen's best. The movie, in my opinion, was a lot better than the text.

Not pirates in general...the movies. I know a lot of people enjoy it, but I just don't. It's kind of just me. Not really into it.

I think things look good/awful all the time. From the previews, The Libertine looks awful.
