am i taking this whole no talking for a day too seriously?, i just need help, please. Options

okay, so ill try to make this short:

ive been dating this current guy, mike for almost 2 months now. we're dating exclusively which he confirmed that weeks ago..so these past two days (monday and tuesday) hes been kinda silent. okay so we usually send each other good morning text msgs but we take turns on each day..monday was his day, he didnt send me anything which is weird...so throughout the whole day i got nothing..so i txted him around 8 at night jst plain asking hey, "hows everything? i havent heard from you" type of thing. he didnt txt back but he got on AIM a little later to talk to me and it was nice and all.. (and he never goes on AIM but only to talk to me) so i guess i was glad he did talk to me but it bugged me alittle that he couldnt txt me back..he explained that he was sick and etc. (sigh.) so yesterday, it was my turn to say good morning and i did..again nothing. the whole day was silent, he didnt even come on AIM to talk to me like he did on monday but he obviously had time to update his status on fbook and post a video on myspace -__-

and im the type that gets super paranoid (which is a flaw of mine but i cant help it) so i have no idea whats up with him..i keep having these crazy assumptions that it might be this or that, does he want to break up, another person, or i dont know! but yesterday really made me feel weird..like a empty/upset feeling b/c honestly talking to him makes my day and i just dont know what to do. my friends are saying just dont do anything today and wait for him to talk to me..then talk to him about it but chill about it till he does...so am i just taking this too seriously?
