ROUND 6 WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON congrats on winning first place. although it was close, overall the judges liked your submission the most. they felt that they weren't flashy enough to be unrealistic, but flashy enough to make them stand out as a custom shoe. the biggest criticism was on the color scheme, but it seemed to be pretty much personal opinion. some people liked the color scheme, others didn't care much for it. second place - thomas so the judges who liked it, liked it because it was simple and basically just highlighted the atari logo. the judges who disliked it, disliked it because it was simple and basically just highlighted the atari logo lol. i think the seller here is having a connection with the atari logo. the ones who did would "buy it in a heartbeat" and the ones like me who couldn't care less about atari didn't think it was very much. you probably had the most coherent concept. you and thomas tied AGAIN, and i just decided to leave it tied in the end. both you and thomas get 5 points for this round. you didn't really have any bad comments on the actual shoe. most of the comments had to do with the template itself. for instance one judge said they wished it had some kind of outline on the parts to make it all stand out more so they could see how the shoe would look. i took into consideration that you don't have photoshop so you can't use the file provided. krndreamangel the judges felt yours was too much like what's already out there, so creativity was the main problem. they thought "the black and pink checkers was overplayed/cliche", and that some of your textures didn't really work well together. however, they did think people would be likely to buy this (hence it already being overdone). a couple judges didn't like the patterns used in general. over all i don't think it was bad, just over done. |

Thanks I wanted to make it pop, more. But I wanted the theme to remain "classic shoe, for classic gamers" I'd def buy these shoes (mine) not too hip with the multi-colored nikes. I like the texture nat used in the bottom center. What's round 6?

I would only wear the shoes I made. I would where Thoma's shoes if I shopped at abercombie, american eagle or any of those places but... I dont. And I never will.
