The following is a editorial I quoted from another forum site.
The mans editorial is about how a man's hatred about his own race. Asian. EDIT: Trying to fix it. Came out wrong. EDIT2:Fixed now. Enjoying the editorial. After this line, is the actual editorial. Not made from me. ____________________________________________________________ This is an actual article published by the San Francisco/Bay Area newspaper Asianweek. Asianweek's motto located right below their name is "Voice of the Asian American Community". It is written by Kenneth Eng. Just thought I'd throw out this article "Why I Hate Asians", in referring the more criticized and publicly denounced article written by Kenneth Eng, by the title of "Why I Hate Black People". It doesn't end there, Kenneth also had the audacity to publish another article before either of the above two, by the name of "Proof That Whites Inherently Hate Us". All three of these racially ignorant articles were published through Asianweek, who is owned by the Fang family (who also owned The Examiner between 2000-2004). QUOTE Why I Hate Asians Kenneth Eng, Jan 12, 2007 It seems like an odd title for an article written by an Asian Supremacist, but there are very good reasons why I hate many of my own kind. The first thing I hate about Asians in America is how so many of them want to suck up to whites. I have had fistfights and verbal altercations with many who discriminated against me and my people. Sadly, however, the Asians who witness or hear about these battles often hate me for being "hypocritical," and tell me that "two wrongs don’t make a right." Do these sycophants think it’s "cool" to mindlessly side with whites and blacks? Is it not enough that we have to fight against discrimination? Now we have to fight amongst ourselves as well? The second thing I hate about Asians is how little pride most of them have. This may be the result of societal brainwashing, but whatever the cause, it must stop. I am repulsed when I see Asian guys speak with British accents in an attempt to sound sophisticated. British people can’t be all that sophisticated if they don’t yet understand the concept of dental hygiene. I am also sickened when I hear Asian people imitate Negro slang in an endeavor to sound "ghetto." Am I supposed to be impressed that such a person emulates the attitude of a supposed slum resident? More importantly, whatever happened to being yourself? The third thing I hate about Asians is how apathetic many of them are in terms of honor these days. If I saw an Asian being stereotyped in a movie theater, I would immediately stand up and shout incessantly at the screen so that none of the white audience members could enjoy the film. When I saw a white man yelling at an old Asian woman a few months ago, I walked up to him and hollered slurs right back in his Aryan face. But most other Asians, I am disappointed to say, would rather just chuckle at their own stereotypes on screen and ignore the problems of their brethren. At the risk of sounding corny, whatever happened to the days of the samurai? When honor meant more than life? Whatever happened to the age of Sun Tzu when we used to kick ass? Don’t get me wrong. I love the Asian race, but every race has its inferiors. It starts within the first sentence. QUOTE It seems like an odd title for an article written by an Asian Supremacist, but there are very good reasons why I hate many of my own kind. It's pretty stupid how Kenneth starts a controversial topic like racism with something about believing that Asians are better than everyone else. More-so, if he hate Asians, then why does he believe they are better than everyone? First sentence and already there are inconstancies within the write. QUOTE The first thing I hate about Asians in America is how so many of them want to suck up to whites. Do these sycophants think it’s "cool" to mindlessly side with whites and blacks? Is it not enough that we have to fight against discrimination? Now we have to fight amongst ourselves as well? There's no % of how many Asians "suck up" to whites here. There are no numbers, no evidence, no factual proof of anything. And this is further expanded on the fact that Kenneth uses his personal experiences to cast judgment on all Asian people. Is it possible that the battles that Kenneth have been involved in were minor altercations that Kenneth himself worsened by his own ignorance? The problem is that we live in a melting pot, which Kenneth obviously doesn't understand. There is submission, and then there's adaption- they are different matters entirely. Just because someone does not side with you, does not mean that they side with the other party involved. Kenneth breaks the argument into simple black and white, good and evil, with me or against me mentalities. And his conclusion is that it's better to fight for the Asian man, than the moral, considerate man. Just because you don't agree with an Asian, doesn't make you an opponent of Asians as a race. I am also sickened when I hear Asian people imitate Negro slang in an endeavor to sound "ghetto." Am I supposed to be impressed that such a person emulates the attitude of a supposed slum resident? More importantly, whatever happened to being yourself? The article is named "Why I Hate Asians", not "Why I Hate Most Asians". No, you can't suddenly try pulling out the safety word of "most" after making a claim against an entire group of people. The definition of "pride" used in this context seems to be, "Act like Asian people should act". "Societal brainwashing" is what this article is, because it's bits and pieces of slandered fiction used as propaganda to promote racism and racial superiority. I am repulsed by people who throw racist and personal opinion out to justify that which is obviously unjustifiable. Kenneth is completely unaware of America being a melting pot. It's a place where people adapt and are assimilated into the culture in which they are living in. You grow up in a place where people speak a certain way, you pick up and internalize what you observe as part of how you believe things are supposed to be. If "being yourself" means drawing illogical conclusions from a racially based argument, then I'll stick with rotten teeth and my chains, mang. If I saw an Asian being stereotyped in a movie theater, I would immediately stand up and shout incessantly at the screen so that none of the white audience members could enjoy the film. At the risk of sounding corny, whatever happened to the days of the samurai? When honor meant more than life? Whatever happened to the age of Sun Tzu when we used to kick ass? I hate the all the starting sentences of Kenneth's article. Just because we learn to laugh at ourselves, means we have no honor? It's pretty IRONIC how someone can say they hate when Asians are stereotyped, and then that same person writes an article named "Why I Hate Asians". This ARTICLE is stereotyped. This article is promoting racial stereotypes, what's up with that? You yelled so that white people couldn't enjoy the film? Did you yell at the Asian people when the white people were stereotyped too? I'm willing to be this is a double standard system right here. Kenneth says that you fight fire with fire, hate with hate. Honor means more than life? I think dignity might, but not honor in the name of anything other than justice and morality. Kenneth lives in a fantasy world, one where you argue your points against one another, accuse those of a crime and then commit it, rant, yell and bitch at the wrong people. QUOTE Don’t get me wrong. I love the Asian race, but every race has its inferiors. Do get me wrong. I love the Asian race, but every race has at least one person who strives to crush all the progress we, the human race and we, the individuals, have made towards a world of equality. Good luck selling your sci-fi novel, Kenneth. _________________________________________________________________________ End of editorial. I personally think Kenneth is a fool. As for the man who made the editorial. I agree with some parts of what he said |
