Viva La Revolucion! Kaycee (kayceeisms) has been demodded for reasons that will not be disclosed. Kaycee, arguably one of cB's most valuable contributors of her time, has been stripped of her position of People Staff. Why? We don't know, but that's what we're here for!End of discussion. Since Kaycee's demotion, the administrators and head staff's only justification for firing her has been "because discussing it would tarnish her reputations further." I can't really come out and say it, but Kaycee did something really stupid, and made a bunch of us really angry... I wouldn't want to further tarnish her reputation. However, this cannot be a legitimate reason for not telling the reason for Kaycee's demotion to either the community or even fellow staff members.Because they apparently don't give two dimes about Kaycee! Not even one! You're right AC. I don't give two dimes about Kaycee. I don't even give ONE dime about her! -- IT CAN'T BE DICUSSED, SO SHHHHHHHH..... Why so defensive, Ms. Kandi? Hiding something? This is not the only situation where staff members behind the demodding of Kaycee have avoided the subject to be discussed. BTW..this is a problem within the mods. You really don't need to be getting involved, we don't need any added drama. This is not just a problem among the moderators; if we have some corrupted staff members (as well as loss of good moderators), it will inevitably affect the whole community. It's common sense. This just shows that they don't want anyone else getting involved who could possibly see that there's something wrong with the picture.-- Join the effort to persuade the admins and head staff to reveal the real reason why Kaycee was demoted! Protest against Kaycee's demotion! If they won't listen to fellow staff members, surely they would yield if the community becomes involved as well. Sign here to add to the petition against Kaycee's demotion and make some noise!

If it can't be discussed with you, then GET OVER IT. Making pointless threads like this really isn't going to help the situation. |

If it's been dropped, there's no use speculating over it. They've already told the community their stand on the situation. There's no use for topics like these. You should know that. Let things be.

^ I totally agree. Unfortunately we have people taking it too far, and they don't know what's good for them, or the community.
^x2 No joke. It's like half the threads in the Lounge involve this. |

Do you even care, Rachael?
You, yourself, were not even told a real reason as to why Kaycee was demodded. If it's been dropped, there's no use speculating over it. They've already told the community their stand on the situation. There's no use for topics like these. You should know that. Let things be. There's no use of letting it pass either. This is no ordinary situation; if there was nothing wrong with Kaycee's demotion, the other staff member's wouldn't be in such a rush to calm everyone down and continuously advise everyone to not get involved. In any other situation, would they have they acted like this?

^ Same, I'd like to hear what Kaycee has to say.
I do believe, however, that if the mods have come to this conclusion, then it must have been something really big. I support their decision, but I think that if it was one mistake, they should be lenient and give her a second chance. |

In any other situation, would they have they acted like this? It's a matter of keeping the community in check. Do they want to make things more hectic than this? Look at the way most of the staff members have reacted (anonymous shoutouts is a perfect example). If they reacted that badly, how do you think the community would? |

^then another mod will just reopen it
we're doing this because of kaycees unfair demotion, and because mona and keira seem to be trying to cover their asses and hide the reason why. |

^ yay.
they'd probably make something up because the truth doesn't stand as a good enough reason to fire her, I wouldn't doubt it if they did. staff doesn't communicate... so hell if anyone knows the truth... why not make some sh*t up and claim it as the reason she was fired? |

Put me on here.
I belive personaly that anytime a staff member is removed from staff that the population of cb should know what happened. She was on people staff. And this should have been disclosed to us people unless it was seriosuly that bad. |

I also wanted to note James's efforts. He personally gave up his position as moderator to send a message to the admins and head staff on behalf of Kaycee.
James (I Viddy Horrorshow) has stepped down from his People Staff position. James (I Viddy Horrorshow) has been removed from People Staff. Who, by the way, did not at all respond well to his resignation. Oh, be quiet. You're one to talk. As if you have any idea what you're talking about, as usual. Good-bye and have fun. :) HAHAHA. Yet another person that doesn't know the story, but is getting mad. And now you're trying to get attention by stepping down? Like it has been said before..GOOD RIDDANCE. Viva La Revolucion! |

Thich Quang Duc, the Buddhist priest in Southern Vietnam , burns himself to death protesting the government’s torture policy against priests. Thich Quang Dug never made a sound or moved while he was burning.

How can you be so sure? Are the admins and head staff infallible these days?
The only real justification we're provided with for demodding Kaycee is the word of the admins and head staff. I mean, just be looking at her modding record she hasn't done anything malicious. In fact, she did a fabulous job a moderator. I mean, there's absolutely no evidence provided against Kaycee. |
