The more I listen to them, the more I like them. On their first EP, "Frug" is really cute

They've gotten a lot of play since "Portions For Foxes" was featured in Grey's Anatomy.
I think my favorite song has to be "A Better Son/Daughter". :) |

*gasp* Am I the only person that isn't terribly fond of Rilo Kiley? My ex introduced me to them a long time ago (maybe that has to do with my lack of appreciation..?), but I just couldn't get into them. I liked the song "I Never." I thought (and still think) it's a catchy, cute little song. I think Jenny Lewis is adorable as well. Just overall, not my favorite band. I was thinking of checking out her solo album though. Has anyone had a listen yet?

Has anyone had a listen yet? Don't bother with the solo album unless you either a) already like Rilo Kiley, which you don't seem to, or b) actually like country. I gave it a few listens, but just couldn't get into it. It was hard enough handling the country-ness of Rilo Kiley. |
