I heard somewhere that masturbation helps prevent prostate cancer. Sorry if I'm getting off-topic here. But like, don't you need to masturbate so you don't get "blue balls"? And you end up ejaculating in "wet dreams" anyways... How you know if you're enjoying it or not at that time, wouldn't know, I'm not awake in my sleep.

masturbation IS a sin....like er...mr. salty balls said, jesus said that anyone who lusts upon a woman is committing adultery...this applies to protestants + catholics.

However....man, there's also something called "forgiveness" here. Jesus will forgive you if you are really repentant over what you've done...if u've got masturbation problems, then try n stop, cause i've heard way too many problems comin from it when you eventually get married. u don't have to stop all at once, just try n taper it till u can stop it entirely. and yea..its possible (1 Corinthians 10:13).

btw...it does mention masturbation in the bible, just not verbatim "thou shalt not masturbate". it mentions lust as a sin. if u gimme that BS excuse that you can masturbate w/o porn or fantasizing or anything like that, it's still wrong because it says in the Bible that self-abuse is a sin.

like i said, just cause u masturbate doesnt mean you'll go to hell. however...keep it up, and chances are, you'll end up becomin those sex-obsessed people who end on Maury to see whether their kid is really theirs....overexaggeration, but masturbation aint a good thing.

wow...im soundin like a pastor now. :X as for buddhists n such....i aint good in that area

for catholics, it is a sin. and note to adoggydog195---learn the ten commandments, man!! haha lmao there is no commandment "Thou shalt not have sex before marriage (learn how to spell)!! Masturbation is an offender against chastity and not being chaste is a vice so if u are not chaste, you sin...in order not to be chaste you have to do oral, anal, masturbation, or pre-marital sex.
