The whole school year I've been preparing for the AP Test, and now that it's nearly here, I know I'm not going to sleep very much.
Anyone else feeling it? |

I have AP language on Monday and US history Friday, I think. In language, if all goes well, I think I should get a 4, but perhaps I shouldn't jump to conclusions by the practice tests. History is a bit more concerneind. SO MUCH INFORMATION! I've been studying for a couple of weeks, but it feels like I'm getting nowhere. I haven't even touched on last semester yet, either...arghh. (Also, why do they have to start so f**king early? I have to be somewhere half an hour away by 7:00AM!!)

^I have language on Monday too. Then I have AP Lit on Thursday, and then AP Psych late testing on the 17th. Frankly, I'm not really nervous because 1) I'm going to college and I don't really care and 2) I've taken AP/IB Exams before, and they're really not that bad.

I'm getting a little stressed, I'm sure I'll be okay though.. I've been through 5 others, 5 more can't hurt. Prom is the weekend between AP weeks, though, so I'm kind of dividing my energies between that and studying. =)
The only one I'm really worried about is microeconomics, I might not do well on that since I haven't actually taken the class. I guess I used to only take APs just cause I was in the AP class and everyone else was doing it.. now it's to max out my college credits. yesssss. Except there's more stress on me for the latter reason.. |

Wait a second.
1. You don't make As on AP tests 2. I don't think there's any way to take all APs since freshman year since there's just not that many AP classes |

There's AP tests for these classes: Art History Biology Calculus AB Calculus BC Chemistry Chinese Language and Culture Computer Science A Computer Science AB Economics: Macro Economics: Micro English Language and Composition English Literature and Composition Environmental Science European History French Language French Literature German Language Government and Politics: Comparative Government and Politics: United States Human Geography Italian Language and Culture Japanese Language and Culture Latin Literature Latin: Vergil Music Theory Physics B Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Physics C: Mechanics Psychology Russian Language and Culture Spanish Language Spanish Literature Statistics Studio Art: 2-D Design Studio Art: 3-D Design Studio Art: Drawing United States History World History So even if your school actually offered all those classes (which isn't likely) there's just about no way that they could make up a 4 year curriculum. Whatever. What do I know? |

You don't get grade letters for AP tests. You could get As in an AP CLASS, but not the test. The score is from 1-5.
Also, There is no such thing as AP Algebra II. |

some schools may use the AP designation indescriminately, and apply it to classes that other schools designate as "advanced" or "honors"
but anyways. here's how to tell if you're in an actual AP class: 1- is there an exam, about 3 hours on average, with essays, in may, costing 80 some dollars that you can take? if not, then no, it's not a real AP class. anyways; i have bc calc lang and comp physics C mech physics C E and M APUSH i feel special. Next year i'll have 8. |
