They have to click createblog from your site.

(ie. you send your 3 friends to your site, "http://josephcohen13.net" make believe that you have the createblog link already on the site. Giving them the link to your site will not increase nor decrease your hits in/out. However, if 2 of your friends decide to click the link to createblog at the wee bottom of your page, then you have 2 unique hits in).

So, bottom-line, you have to have 1500 different people click the link or button to createblog from your site. However, I'm unsure if this is based on a daily, weekly, or monthly count. I'll keep my eyes on the numbers at the end of the day/week/month to see if they rollover or if they reset.

Ya can someone found out if its daily weekly monthly or if it never resets?

Thanks. :)

Well, I don't know what's going on either...I guess I'll just have to wait until it expires, and then try re-submitting? We'll see. Thanks for trying to help me with this. :)

Go to your affiliate page and look on the right side below the ad. Uniques in means the hits from the link on your site. The Uniques out is the hits that came from cb to your site.

Edit: You need 1500 uniques in to get it.

QUOTE(micron @ May 6 2008, 12:53 AM) *
OVERVIEW
Do you have a layout site or a personal site that you want to promote? Become a CB affiliate! You will need to verify your website by copying and pasting the affiliate code to your website, and then clicking on the link before being listed. The affiliates link is at the bottom of every CB page, with the default sort as "last activity", which is the last time a user clicks on your affiliate link. Also, the top affiliates (calculated by unique hits in minus unique hits out) are listed at every layout code page. In the future, CB will be "stretched out" to accomodate the affiliates section at the top of every page. Once everything is finalized, we will guarantee that we will send you at least one visitor for every visitor you send! We can do this because we are arguably one of the largest if not the largest layout site out there!
WHATS ALLOWED
-To be listed, you will need to verify your site by clicking on your affiliate link from your site.
-Only pg-13 sites are allowed.
-Affiliate code must be intact.
-Inactive affiliates (no activity for 1 month) are automatically delisted!
WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
CreateBlog is arguably the largest and one of the first layout providers (since 2003). There's no better way to increase your website clout than to be affiliated with us!

Also, if you reach 100 incoming unique hits, you will be eligible to be in the Affiliate member group, which has similar upgrades as official members. Plus, you get to strut around the community with an official cb affiliate badge! PM me to be upgraded! =)

If you reach 1500 incoming unique hits, you will be eligible for a free hosting account:

-5GB Disk Space
-50GB Monthly Traffic
-Unlimited MySQL DBs
-Unlimited Email Accounts
-Unlimited FTP Accounts
-Unlimited Subdomains
-Cpanel 11
-Dedicated IP
-PHP 5, MYSQL 5, APACHE 2
-99.9% Uptime Guarantee
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? JOIN NOW!

Is the affiliate programme compatible with Xanga? My site's been unverified for over a month - even after I've linked back via the affie code.

Buh.

If you wouldn't mind. I'd like to know if this is just a Xanga problem (I doubt it - I prolly buggered something up somewhere).

Ah! Got it - to verify it looks like you need to hit both IN and OUT - in from your site via the affiliation code and out through the "go to site" link CB provides.

Is there supposed to be an affiliates section somewhere on cB? I'm curious who all the affiliates are.
