My school has planned a trip to go to sunsplash, and I have noticed...well, I need some toning. I mean, I'm normal size but I have some extra body fat that I want to get rid of. Well, I have started a food log like some people have suggested, and I start to walk around the house more often with my PED-o-METER. But thats about all I can do. My mother won't let me go outside and run or bicycle. She is overprotective. I really want to do some more exercising, cause just cutting back on food isn't going to work alot.

I don't want to walk around sunsplash with bulges hanging out...I mean, I saw my friend with bulges last year at sunsplash...and...well..ew.

What else could I do to tone? And how do I get my mother to trust me to go outside?

Buy some weights and workout or run around the house like a maniac to piss your mom off AND burn calories at the same time! Or you could run up and down the stairs 50x a day.

Do kick boxing cardio in doors to techno music or rap that will get you pumped. The standard weight lifting, sit ups stuff is good too. Drink lots of water and have several meals dispersed throughout the day (like 4-6).

Cardio... you need to be in your correct heart rate/minute in order to really burn fat.

There's a lot of topics similar to this...
