Aren't a lot of South Americans and Europeans like that, though? They love them some football.

It's better than having a barrage of updates on FB for people 'rooting' for one of the two teams when they know jack shit about either team. I can understand Mexicans rooting for Mexico, but what does a fobby gamer who I know for a fact doesn't watch/play soccer like so much about South Africa?

Ahahahah last cup w/ France. I like some of the Frenchies, love Ribery. That's probably because he plays (maybe played soon) for Bayern Munchen. I'm pulling for the Germans / Dutch. The Dutch will probably annihilate the first three games then f*ck up when it matters. That seems to be their thing.

lol, brief me on your favorite teams/those who actually have a chance at winning! I've read the rundown on most of the teams, but I still don't know who's actually any good. And I've heard that Brazil, Spain, and Argentina seem to be the big favorites.

PARK JI SUNG!

I was half expecting in the opening ceremony for them to break out into the 'Circle of Life'.

Ay though that first goal on us was pretty shitty of us too shouldn't have happened. Man that ginger announcer was like "Tim Howard is one of the best goalies in the world, he just happens to be American."

I like how Americans are so excited about a draw and how England is furious about it.

LMFAO.

Dude I know. It's mostly because England was supposed to dominate the US. I mean I'm glad we didn't lose, but neither England nor the US are teams that I'm most interested in.
