I found a better video of this simulation (below) originally on http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/29/dell-streaks-gorilla-glass-screen-torture-tested-for-your-amus/, but since i couldn't embed that video onto here so theres a link, and heres a video from youtube by TechRadar..

Gorilla glass is pretty impressive. Anybody know of other phones that had some damage tests, and passed them? Post them here!

Did the same w/ an iphone w/ an incase on it and it's not scratched / works fine

I saw a youtube video once where some guy waterboarded an ipad. he drilled holes and hit it with a hammer too.

dropped my phone numerous times before. once i dropped it down a staircase and it just kept rolling to the bottom. still worked fine. i even throw it around, on the floor, blah blah blah and it still works.
