Yes the SAT's!
its just one of those exams that i feel i have and i want to do great on
my score doesn't have to be the highest i just want a score that
get get me accepted into colleges
i am currently out of school for the summer and i will be in the 11th grade the next school year
would you recommend me start practicing now or
should i start 3 months before the test?

And any other SAT practice resources would be very appreciated!

I recommend just getting some sort of study guide, there's tons of them out there. Then take the PSAT it will tell you what you need to work on.

Pretty much every bookstore has a section for SAT/ACT prep with books and materials. Also, your school will probably have study groups after school as the date for the test is nearing.

You can pick up books now. A lot of books have practice tests in the back of them and it wouldn't be a bad idea to go through one of the practice tests to see what areas need improvement. Work on it little by little so that you don't have to cram everything in the week before the test.

MN and yeah it's required, I just haven't done them yet. We don't have a specific date set where everybody takes it and then you're done. You do this shit on the weekends whenever you sign up, but my f*cking school doesn't even tell us when the dates are coming up which is why I'm still lacking. hammer.gif

I had to go through that not too long ago

I took tutoring twice (one for three months prior to my act then one for the whole summer stubborn.gif): ) and I didn't do too hot on my first 2 ACT's
The third time i did nothing, i was in school by then and i did better

So imo try things out, trying tutoring, and know that you can always try again (cant you for SATs?)
but also relax the stress will definitely get to you

The S.A.T.'s are a huge bitch but I never took any classes or studied for them. The first time i did really well, the second time i did significantly worse (hungover) and the third time I did awesome my finals scores were something like 690 math 710 reading and 720 writing after combining all my best scores. Just be chill about it and relax stressing out does nothing but hurt you.
