I worked in a children's emergency room for a year and saw a couple of non treatable patients, due to religious beliefs. There's NOTHING physicians can do. It's horrific to witness. This is particularly true for blood transfusions. Some "faiths" don't allow it.

Kills me.

I'd probably put my kid above my religion. If I had to burn in hell so that my child could live a long and prosperous life by having something simple fixed, or something treated, it'd be worth it.
