Anyone else looking forward to seeing this film? I finished reading the book several weeks ago and I'm interested to see how it plays out on screen. Never been a die hard fan of Julia Roberts, but we'll see. Oh and James Franco? blush.gif

I just bought the book the other day, but I want to finish the book before I see the movie. I feel like movies always ruin the books.

I've seen this book around all the time but have never read it. Is it worth the read?

Honestly, the reason why I haven't read it is because one of the words in the title is "pray", and the blurb, as I recall, is something like a woman trying to find herself spiritually or some shit like that after a divorce? *rolls eyes* but hey I'm willing to give it a shot if y'all think it's good.

i went to see it this afternoon. it was so slow and so boring that i fell asleep before we even got half way. probably can't give it much of a review since i slept through most of it. but my mom and girlfriend have both read the book, neither of them enjoyed this either. thought it was a let down and didn't do the book any justice. they also thought it was slow and pretty boring. never found it's stride.
