This thread is specially designed for members of "Anime Otaku" that would like to submit/use a banner dedicated to the anime fanclub

I faded it on purpose.. I did a pretty bad erasing job on it =P. but if you try to find out about the picture you will come across spoilers... Thats why I didn't really want to post it up. but I ended up posting it

why dont we make a photobucket file (or another image uploading site) for uploading the banners so others dont have to use space on their own image loading place and to organize it n stuff? (did that wit my forum and its helpful)

Like on the one I'm using - yeah. I create two different layers - the one with the picture and the one with the brushes. Then when I put the brushes on it, all I have to do is erase the picture layer around it, and it creates that beautiful abstract artsy border.

Haha reason I picked it is because they have their undergarnments on ...

And there is a picture inside the text.. it says Anime Otaku Shuffle and there are pictures in there.. of the heads of the characters

Anyway, I just though of a great way to 'advertise' anime otakus. When one us is working on a banner, why don't we post it in the Digital Art forum for comment/critique? That way the banner will be cooler and people will be interested in AO.

Of course, you don't have to do it for every banner.. it's just a suggestion.

Ah, great job with the banners guys!

I did some rearranging.
Phil, you now have your own section at the bottom, i'll add more people's banners to that section if i run out of room again on the top. I couldn't fit all your banners in the same place basically, so i had to move them.

Blow_don't_suck, moved your banner to the 1st post, it fit better there and didn't get lost inbetween everyone elses.

Lyra, Rachael.....your banners are now in different sections then each others because both of you sumbit so many beautiful banners the post can't hold that many images :)

man someone needs to reduce the size of the images/banners. we should do the same thing anna did to the createblog buttons.
anyone agree? the first page takes forever to load.

-reduce the size of images. photoshop: file -> save for web (jpg-high)
-upload all the images to a new server; so the bandwidth won't exceed.

Some of the following banners have the text "member #___" on it. Using Paint or another image editing program, type in your AO member number on it. Then, save the image again, upload it on an image hoster, and replace the original image url with the new one. This saves space on your siggy. However, if you don't want to put your number on there, then you can leave it as is.

We have so many now, that we need to shrink them in size,
and clicking on it or a link next to it will give you it in the real size or something
cuz we just have too many now! and it's taking forever to load.
HOwever, this is a huge project, one that I don't really have time for....

I got most of those from BladeCham but their site closed down >:( I just luckly dowloaded them before they shut down.

I have some sites with BladeChams work in it saved by fans but i think it might be inappropriate to post the site. Its a bit ecchi and huge on loli.

But some of the other ones i just found by accident.
