it's been 2 years since i opened illustrator and i need some help remembering a few tricks...

how do you create duplicate objects that overlap each other? i.e. the first example of how the petals are fanned out. i forget how to do that and it's driving me crazy

i don't really know what you're asking, but....i'm going to take a guess. look at this tutorial

http://www.illustrator-brushes.com/illustr...illustrator.htm

after you set it up in that box, you can just keep pressing ctrl + d and it's going to keep repeating that same rotate angle on every duplicate. i think, i did this before but i can't really remember either.

sorry if that's not what you're asking at all.

yes!! thanks. i was reading another (rather shitty) tutorial and it said to copy, but i was pressing ctrl-c instead of the copy button inside the prompt and it wasn't working. thank youuuuu.
