colin firth, geoffrey rush, helena bonham carter. and even an appearance by michael gambon and david thewlis as churchill. (that's bellatrix lestrange, dumbledore and wormtail for those who don't know... lol)

it's about king george II's (firth) unexpected rise to the throne after his father's death and his older brother's irresponsibility, and his struggle to cope with his crippling stammer in an age when as king, he must be able to address his people on a regular basis... especially with world war 2 approaching. with advise from his wife, he begins to see lionel logue (rush), a speech coach with no credentials but effective methods.

it's so good. colin firth deserves an oscar for this role, y'all should see it.
