That Kanye Tour is going to be crazy. N.E.R.D. is also on that tour, so you know it is going to be fire. I haven't really seen any concerts that have wowed me yet. All of my bands are on a break with the exception of Vampire Weekend.

Last weekend I saw Stars, Friday I saw Girl Talk, then the Black Lips, and yesterday I saw Kimya Dawson. Good stuff.

^ Ahh, Girl Talk?? My friend's father is in the music production business and he offered me free tickets to Girl Talk in Las Vegas but I had midterms that week and said "no" which I really, really regret. I heard it was more than amazing.

How is Stars live? And if you see Okkervil River, tell me how they are live, too.

That's a bummer;not worth missing your big day though...I actually wish they were at the larger arena when they come to ATL in May like The Heart of The City Tour...I swear The Glow In The Dark Tour is gonna be so much better than that & they would've been able to make a lot more money but I guess they didn't book in enough time to snag Philips...

I think with finals around the corner, I've reached the end of my concert spree. In the past month I've seen:

Stars
Girl Talk
Black Lips
Kimya Dawson
Colin Meloy
A Place To Bury Strangers
The New Pornographers/Okkervil River
Feist

And for the summer, I at least intend to see:

Ingrid Michaelson
Vampire Weekend
Efterklang/Slaraffenland

(There's a slim chance of going to Bonnaroo, but that seems unlikely. Not to mention that that would mean 5 days of concerts in a row, or selling my Vampire Weekend ticket.)

Haven't got anything booked until the next set of tickets come in to the magazine, but I saw We Are Scientists with Oxford Collapse on Saturday, which was REALLY good.

Although, it must be said that Keith Murray has possibly the MOST annoying speaking voice in all the land.

OMG I AM SO JEALOUS.
UGH I didn't have enough mony to snag 2 tickets at the time and They completely sold out ): I guess you'll have to assume its going to be much harder for Chicagopeople.

UGH UGH UGH! They say his concerts are one of a kind and like super cool :[
Did you know that this tour took his fiance off the edge and they are now split split?!

Anyways, I'm going to Lollapalooza
But its all the way in August. [For a 3 day event]
BUT KANYE AND LUPE AGAIN <3
and like a bajillion more, I'm so excited.
