am I the only one that's noticed how black people and college students love sleeping in the cold?

You might be onto something, because I can't sleep when it's hot.

I have this problem where every single night when I get in bed the inside of my thighs start itching and then I scratch them and they get red and swollen and then I can't sleep. I can't figure out why it happens, cause it does it whether I'm wearing shorts or not.

obvious answer is to sleep naked

I CANNOT stand sleeping when it's cold. I used to live in an old drafty house, and during the winter I wouldn't sleep very good. Now that I have air conditioning where I live, the lowest I put it on this past summer was 76. My friends think I am crazy.

I agree with everyone who said that you need to find something that helps you unwind and calm down. I find that when I'm stressed about things I usually go to bed and lay there thinking about things... which just keeps me from sleeping. I've been trying to get myself back on schedule because going to bed at random times just f*cks with my mind.

Reading is a great thing to do before bed if you're stressed... it's almost like an escape (depending on what you read).

I also can't sleep if it's too hot so I keep my apartment at 60-62 degrees. I spray my bed & pillows with this lavender/chamomile spray every now and then to help relax. Sometimes I'll read, watch tv, listen to music or play ps3/xbox until I pass out. If I'm really desperate I'll take a valium or sleeping pill and then I'm definitely done for the night.

Gross. You enjoy sleeping in chemicals?

For me, harder than getting to sleep is not waking up. There is construction going on every weekday outside my house, and the sun wakes me up. Putting black trash bags over the window under the blinds works, but I can't be bothered to do it every weekend.

I've been having problems sleeping lately, but it's mostly 'cause of neverending studying -_-". Usually I play Gods Eater on psp until my eyes can't stay open anymore, but that never actually solves the problem since I'd have to get up an hour later for class.
